The C5471 Development Bundle, available for order today from Spectrum Digital ships
standard for $8,999 with a C5471 Evaluation Module (EVM) bundled with a tailored RidgeRun DSPLinux Board Support Package.
The DSPLinux Board Support Package includes:
- Binary boot loaders which allows a developer's code to get down to both the ARM7 and the TI C54x DSP cores.
- True uClinux Kernel -- the heart of the Linux OS -- optimized for the ARM7, and an optimized base footprint of 2 MB Flash/4 MB RAM.
- A complete set of C5471 device drivers supporting all of the chip's key peripherals.
- Full set of Linux utilities and applications -- familiar to and expected of those developing in the Linux environment.
- Complete development tool chain including the GNU code generation tools for the ARM7 and TI's industry leading code generation tools for the C5471 DSP.
- A RidgeRun exclusive appliance simulator tool which allows higher level application development outside of the target hardware system.
