We know the importance of having a good set of company values. The "Ridge Rules" guide the way we run the company.

Integrity

  • We conduct our business with uncompromising integrity.
  • Speak the hard truth. Be direct, fair and compassionate.

Decisions

  • Push decisions to lowest level practical.
  • Timely decisions are better than perfect ones. We'll never have all the data we would like to have.
  • Don't need consensus, but we do want to hear multiple ideas and concerns prior to choosing a path.
  • We will make mistakes, or get new data, and have to change course.
  • Once a decision is made:
    • Support it like it was your idea.
    • Communicate the decision to the organization and record it including rationale and alternatives considered.

People

  • Treat others with respect.
  • We need diverse set of people, ideas, styles, and opinions to do great work.
  • Balance work and real life.
  • Give back to the community.
  • Learning is important. Grow your skills and the skills of those around you.
  • Honest, timely feedback is important.
  • Employees should always know how they are doing.
